The Danish parliament passed a law on Thursday banning the wearing of full-face veils in public.”Anyone who wears a garment that hides the face in public will be punished with a fine,” says the law, which was passed by a 75 to 30 margin.
Similar bans have been put in place in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and parts of Switzerland.
